This is something I was thinking about. As we are very well aware GJ told a lot of untruths. Is he likely to be prosecuted in Australia for committing perjury by directly lying to the RC?

This RC hearing is a very good tool for all of us. It is with a member of the GB and at the same time extremely damaging for the sect, especially GJ opening answers where he clearly says that the GB are not gods mouthpiece.I am please to hear that your wife shows some reasonableness by at least discussing these things. It is a difficult ball game, my top concern is my daughter. My wife has chosen her course, but my daughter should not be confronted with this toxicity, unfortunately she is. She does need her mothers support, I do not try to get my daughter on my side, this would cause a loyalty conflict, and would be contra-productive. But this incident clearly demonstrates where the evilness lies. Thanks for your thoughts.

You mentioned some very interesting points. "Playing nice" and being fair is certainly the right thing to do. In your case you were walked all over, that is the same with me, but I shall not sink down to the same low depths the JWs do. My congregational status is fader. Not DF'd, not DA'd. Clearing my stand with the elders might well be a good idea, especially if I clearly state in my letter that I will do everything in my power to undermine the belief of my wife, extensibly also my child, this may cause the elders to coerce my wife into leaving me, which (as I am in Germany) will give me reason to bring criminal charges against the elders.
I shall give this more thought, thanks for expressing your ideas and feelings, I really appreciate that.

What you say is true. You can only check to see if something is true or not true by checking all the facts. But JWs are oh so indoctrinated. We should not forget that if a JW checks the accuracy of anything, he/she is considered an apostate and will be punished. Most of them a victims.

I am really pleased to hear that your wife is reasonable and got to know TTATT. As for my wife, even if she does turn around and realize the insidiousness of this cult, the damage has been done.
But I shall do every reasonable thing to keep my daughter out of this sect.
She believes everything the bOrg says in its magazines and books, and will not make any effort to check any of these things.

I have documented this experience here, I will do no more than that. I think the RC are looking at this site and others. If they contact me through a PM, I will give them whatever information they want.
Actually after this incident I decided to record every conversation I have with my wife, to document her outbursts or religious hatred. This will most definitely be to my advantage if there is an issue of child custody. I am sure the Youth Welfare Office would take an interest in these outbursts, as such things do have an affect on a child.
Well this cult really does have full control of my wife.

I do my utmost to keep the peace. Any kind of argument comes from my wife, and I really mean that. I have never been an argumentative person. What happened today was most definitely not my fault, I took reasonable measure to prevent her from listening to my private conversation, so to any reasonable person it was obviously private.
With this incident, my daughter was in the next room, the first she noticed was when my wife flung open the door and started screaming at me.
She is 15, she can reason, this is only going to turn her away from the cult, which is positive. Unfortunately the whole atmosphere is toxic, and I thank the bOrg for that. This will most definitely lead to divorce, I have expressed my unconditional love to my daughter.
